The Harding Land and Cattle Talquezal Ranch is 35 miles east of Miles City on Highway 12. The ranch consists of 54,000 acres of grassland. We have spent 10 years developing the grazing program through the development of fences and water improvements. The land varies from low lying meadows along the Powder River, Locate Creek, Myers Creek and Coal Creek to rough pine covered bluffs. This variety of landscape provides the diversity in grasses and range conditions that affords year around grazing and protection.
In addition to the cattle our ranch is home to mule deer, white tail deer, antelope, wild turkey, share tailed grouse, coyote, bald eagles, and prairie dogs. As we continue to improve the ranch for our cattle these native inhabitants continue to increase and prosper.
