Our RanchStar bulls and females have been used primarily in our herd development program. We have sold several excess bulls in the past few years, and will have several more for sale early this spring. We currently have selected 24 bulls that are available for service this year. These bulls were born in spring of 1996 and have been selected for confirmation and sperm soundness. We will be needing some of these bulls for our own use and will be offering the rest for sale. At this point we are planning on retailing all of our RanchStar heifers from the 1997 calf crop. We will have some older females that will be replaced by these heifers and would consider selling these proven cows to a producer interested in starting a breed stock herd of their own. We are willing to work with you to match a bull with the cows to give you a jump start with this program.
